could it be over

November 30th, Hurricane season is done. Tropical Storm Epsilon became the 26th named storm today but does not look like it will touch us.

Katrina came through here and really didn't do much (although the people in Miami may disagree) and then Wilma. Still there are endless trees down, intersections with just 1 light and when you fly into South Florida ... it is all Fema Blue as far as you can see.

It really amazes me how long things take to get back to normal. The fire department made my community put up wood balconies since most balconies were destroyed. And we got off lucky. 1250 died in Katrina ... Wilma just made a mess.

So another season done, another global warming argument to be had ... the calm of winter in South Florida. At least it won't snow (fingers crossed).

Man you guys have really had a heckuva year, seems like one disaster after another....there's no telling how many claims have been filed to insurance companies in the last 3 seasons...I hope that it slacks off
