ringtones

So I have always had a very basic ringtone on my cell phone, usually the one it came with as I don't really know how to change it. Well Greg and I are having a cocktail over at neighborhood sports bad the other afternoon and he was explaining hot the ringtone internet industry works. I was playing with my phone at the bar, decided to download a ringtone ($2.49) and scrolled through and got one.

I have to admit, this could conceivably be the single most annoying ringtone on the face of the earth.

Ozzy Osbournes Crazy Train ... scared the crap out of the cats when all of a sudden they hear "All aboard ... ha hahahahahaha ...."

Well worth the $2.49 ...

Jenn says it's about as obnoxious as the Hummer.

Saw you posted at Blogster, so went over to say "Hi". Guess you'd like some news of the old home place. People are upset over the two new guys because they are taking so long to make good on their promises. For a long while they ignored us,just letting us regiater our comments to a faceless non-human they called "Blog". We complained and one of them (Tony) posted some nice pictures of his family, which at least made things look human. So we kept on complaining, saying they were doing nothing and people were taking off to this site, saying that they loved Blogster but just incase things go badly they have a new place to post. A couple of days ago, Tony began a blog, calling himself "walleye" which was goood PR for him to do. He let go a few personal items of himself and that was all good. But the servers are still slow(er) and I don't think they will get any peace until they finish what they are trying to do and finally explain the way it is. It seems they will have some of Blogster free and some (with more perks) as paid subscription. Everybody is happy Blogster will remain free and some are wondering about the cost of the paid sub. and what they would get in return for their money. We have such a good community over there. I don't want to leave. It makes me depressed to see many people having duel blogs, just in case. I commented on someone's blog that if it all fell apart over there I was all done, back to the hand-written diaries I go. But I don't want to do that. I like where I am, I like the format straight up and simple. I've visited over here and I must say, I am not impressed. It may have interesting options as to design etc. but to me it is too cold and impersonal. I couldn't see me blogging as I do at Blogster over here. It feels like a cubicle and because I don't know anything about computers I wouldn't know how to dress the place up. I can state my piece over there and people can come and go easily. The new guys want to open Blogster up to the world (well it's their site) I don't know if we can continue our little community after that happens, or if it wouldn't matter much in our little backwater. Well I've written a book sorry but thought I'd fill you in a bit about the "old Stompin' grounds. Bet you miss Blogster, warts 'n' all huh...hugz, Linda(Chattymoon)
